The birth of viridelle
Finding my path…
Three years ago, I graduated from university filled with hope and ambition. But like many, the reality that followed was far from what I imagined. I struggled to find meaningful work, juggling jobs that never quite fit, and all while being a full-time mother to a lively toddler. Those years were tough – every job I took left me feeling disconnected and uninspired.
But sometimes, life’s hardest moments push us toward our true calling.
For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep love for botanical skincare. I’ve always found comfort and joy in creating bath potions – blending salts, flowers, and herbs into calming, nourishing rituals. That passion has been my constant companion.
This year, I finally decided it was time to turn that passion into something real. To build something I love for myself, and for others who appreciate the magic of nature’s gifts.
And so, Viridelle was born.
Inspired by the breath-taking beauty of Fairy Glen in Stonethwaite – a place I visited for the first time in April. I found the perfect muse for my creations. That stunning, untouched landscape, rich with emerald green waters, dancing damselflies and ancient trees, sparked something inside me. I wanted to capture that same purity, calm, and earthborn elegance in my products.
Viridelle specializes in whipped body butters and luxury botanical massage candles – handmade in small batches here in the UK, using only the finest natural ingredients. My first two signature scents are very close to my heart: a whipped body butter scented with soothing frankincense, bright neroli, and fresh lime, and a massage candle inspired by the earthy, rain-kissed scent of petrichor.
Every product is crafted with care, tested, and certified to meet UK cosmetics regulations, including full CPSR compliance. I’ve also completed an organic skincare business diploma to ensure everything I create is not only beautiful but safe and effective.
Starting this journey hasn’t been easy, but it feels right. It feels like home.
I’m excited to share Viridelle Naturals with you all, and to keep growing, learning, and creating. Here’s to new beginnings, to chasing dreams, and to nurturing ourselves with nature’s best.
